American Akitas vom Wächterberg

With wild boar, wolves and deer

The last holiday in Saxony appeared in his golden autumn side. What a luck, a hiking tour of our dog school was scheduled for that day by the Moritzburg pond areas. Eichiro’s owner Christoph had chosen the route and made all preparations. The Moritzburg "Radlereck" had cooked for us delicious goulash. Then it was on in the Moritzburg Wildlife Park. Now leash was announced for our doggies, but being so close to deer, wild pigs and foxes was a really new experience for most of our doggies. And they were surprisingly quiet, even the sight of their ancestors awoke at best curious looks on both sides. In general Shadow was much more interested in Ginkou to come as close as possible, because she was in the final stages of her heat. The return route took us past the hunting lodge of Augustus the Strong, through forests, across fields passing flying kites and model aircraft to our meeting place. In the end we managed a route of about 15 km and man and dog were exhausted and glad being back at the cars. All in all it was a great autumn hike.
